Invest in an experience and accept the invitation.

Trip Itinearies to Northern Italy, Tuscany and Umbria from author, teacher and Italian food entrepreneur Pamela Marasco to see and savor Italy in a way that is more than a "show and tell" tour. Itinearies are based on travel experiences from her book  Seeing and Savoring Italy - A Taste and Travel Journey through Northern Italy, Tuscany and Umbria - many of the iconic sites of Italy seen a little differently traveling outside the tourist flow to places most Italians enjoy when traveling in their own country. Lifestyle itineraries focus on the culinary and cultural traditions of the region.

Making Pasta

"Attending a Cositutti selected cooking class in Italy is like icing on a
torta"

There are many cooking schools in Italy to choose from. A recent Google search resulted in 1,410,000 hits with vivid pictures of mouthwatering pasta paired with ruby red wines and decadent desserts located in villas and Tuscan farmhouses "immersing" you into the d'arte della cucina of Italy. Culinary vacations and gastronomic adventures are becoming the trip d'jour as travelers search for more than a show and tell tour. But hands on can sometimes mean hands off and you may be one of the many rather than one of few, in a stage-designed demonstration kitchen more suitable to the Food Network.

Our cooking schools are 100% hands on with an emphasis on the gastro-history and traditions of regional Italian food. You'll learn the techniques and principles of Italian cusine to see and savor Italy with the most congenial of hosts whose chefs bring "la dolce vita" to everything they cook.
